Most of you might have come across leet even if you dont know what it is about. As an introduction, I would recommend you to read about leet on wikipedia. Leet stuff can be found in most of the forums. And I have made this little tool to help you guys out there who find it difficult to cope with leet stuff. This program is portable, only the executable file – meaning you can carry it anywhere.

Heard of ImageShack?? Now they let you download torrents to their server. Which means when the download completes, you can download the files via direct ImageShack link. You can give it the torrent link or upload the torrent file to start downloading.

iPhone 3G hits the market on July 11th

Last year we had this gorgeous Apple iPhone which came up with a set of revolutionary features. Even though it was not the perfect mobile device since it lacked some of the most important features like video recording, 3G, and Bluetooth paring with other devices. However the iPhone 3G will introduce some more features this year. Major replacements include 3G, GPS, app store, 2 Mega Pixels camera, improved audio and the iPhone software version 2.0 update. But still the iPhone doesn’t support video recording which is a very strange thing in my concern.

At the WWDC(Worldwide Developer Conference) Steve Jobs announced that the iPhone 3G will be released in 70 countries this year with a price tag of $199 for the 8GB model and $299 for the 16GB model. What’s more? the 16GB now has a White color version too. So be ready to get your cute little iPhone 3G on July 11th..

Firefox is trying to set a world record..!!

Firefox is a more secure, stable and a fast web browser compared to its competitors. Its latest version(Firefox 3) is going to pop up in a few weeks time and now the creators of Firefox (Mozilla organization) is trying to set a Guinness world record for most downloaded software in 24 hours. It has given the name as “Download Day 2008″.

Sounds like a good deal, right? All you have to do is get Firefox 3 during Download Day to help set the record for most software downloads in 24 hours – it’s that easy. We’re not asking you to swallow a sword or to balance 30 spoons on your face, although that would be kind of awesome.

Submit your website to search engines

If you have made a website or a web blog, you would like to promote it.. Don’t you? Search engines are the best for this, because most people get help from search engines to find what they need. So your website should be among their search results. Well, search engines have something called bots which indexes all the websites and stuff. This happens automatically but it might take some time to index a particular website depending on the bot. For this you can manually submit your website to the search engine. Google is the most preferable one among search engines and its indexing service is pretty fast compared to any other search engine.

N-Gage gaming on NSeries

N-Gage is the gaming platform for Nokia mobile phones. Now they have implemented this on newer mobile phones which have 3D acceleration.

N82,

N95,

N95 8GB

However Nokia people have confirmed that they will release a firmware update for N73, N93 and N93i so all you people out there with those models can also join the fun.. Ok now I have tried this personally on my N95 and it worked perfectly. You just have to install the N-Gage platform (albeit this comes pre-installed on new ones) and then download the games you would like to play. These games can be downloaded for free as trials.. So you will have to pay for the full versions.. (that sucks.. lol) I would like to recommend Hooked on: creatures of the deep and FIFA ‘08 because they have excellent 3D stuff.. and by the way, don’t forget to check out their game showroom for the latest titles..!!

Download anything on a webpage

Well, you might have experienced that you cannot download everything that appear on websites.. Even for that there are ways which you can download the file you want. This is simple. All you have to do is point your browser to file2hd.com – which I am using to download songs in Myspace..

Ok now what you have to do is put the URL of that webpage(not the domain name). Just simply copy and paste the URL and tick what you are going to download. If it’s a song then tick “Audio”, finally agree to their license agreement and proceed.. Voila..!! there you go.. Save it..!!

As an alternative, you can do something like this. If you are using firefox, you can right click on the page and select “Page info” and then select “Media” tab.. So you can download flash animations and stuff (but not Myspace songs)

Bugmenot – logmein

Have you ever been sent a newspaper article by email or just googled for some article but you cant read the comments until you get registered in their website? Well, not to worry.. if your purpose is just to read it and get out of there not wasting your precious time (ahem.. lol) use bugmenot.. Enter the URL of the site and it will serve you with a username and a password which is already there. So you don’t have to fill out entire registration forms with fake details which most of you might have been doing..

If you want to use bugmenot, you will have to use a plugin for your browser or just visit this page to get login information.

Google is everything…!!

Well, most of you might be aware of the infamous Google dorks thing.. Apart from them Google has more to offer.. It can be used as a calculator, currency converter, definitions, and the like.. Pretty interesting huh??

For calculations, type in the sum.. for example 5*9

And for definitions, type define and then whatever the word you want.. its that simple..

MusicTracker – “Now Playing” feature for Pidgin

Pidgin is one of the best free-open source clients for instant messaging (simply chatting). Besides you can extend its features with the use of plugins. So lets get down to the main topic.. Most of you might have experienced the “Now Playing” plugin in WLM which basically displays the currently playing song in your personal message. But unfortunately Pidgin lacks in this feature. So as I wanted this thing very badly I’v googled.. and voila..!! I’v found a plugin called MusicTracker which is pretty easy to use and the best is it supports many famous media players like iTunes, Windows Media Player, Winamp & Foobar 2000. The only drawback is it shows song information along with your display name.

Configuring MusicTracker

Once you install it, open Pidgin and select plugins by clicking on the tools menu. Afterwards enable MusicTracker and click Configure. So you will be able to configure the plugin as necessary. By the way, I would like to recommend these settings for easy configuration.

Player: Auto-detect

Playing: | %p – %t

Paused: | %p – %t <paused>

So it will be like yourname | artist – song

One thing to point out though, that the use of %m switch won’t work perfectly since the symbol is a Unicode character and some of the IM clients don’t support Unicode in their text boxes. And make sure that you leave the “Stopped/off:” text box blank.
